The custom concrete range consists of the following:

• Precast concrete cable jointing pits (joint bays) are available in single pit or our patented segmented joint bays up to 80 tonne for use in jointing of underground electrical cables (HV/LV), communication jointing or fibre optics.
  • All pits are supplied steel reinforced with a minimum compressive strength of 40MPa at 28 days.
  • Pits can be individualised with various penetration/block out options to suit the project requirements. These may include bell mouths, slip couplings and knock out panels and penetrations to facilitate conduits being grouted into place.
  • Pits can be supplied with pump out locations in the floor, cast in stainless steel uni strut, cable pulling eyes, integrated earthing systems, custom pit riser options, provided with either plastic encapsulated steel step irons or galvanised steel extendable ladders.
  • Pits can be supplied utilising our patented segmented design.
• Precast concrete J8 Pits (SCEC available).
• Precast concrete access covers and lids in a wide range of sizes and configurations.
• Custom galvanised mild steel access covers meeting Class B to Class D load ratings as specified in AS3996:2019. These can be locking or non-locking with SCEC endorsement available to meet Government departments including Defence requirements.
• Mascot Engineering cast/ductile iron access covers and frames (infill and solid top), suitable for precast or in-situ applications meeting Class B to Class G load ratings as specified in AS39996:2019.
• Access covers can be provided as single, two, three, multipart or trench run configurations with cast in or removable beams (manufactured locally to ensure quality and speed).
• All access covers can be supply only or manufactured with concrete surround to suit precast pits or custom applications.
